Definition

A sarcastic, dismissive retort used to shut down or mock perceived out-of-touch or condescending views from older generations, especially Baby Boomers.

Examples

"After his boss claimed young people could buy homes if they just stopped buying lattes, she replied, 'OK Boomer,' and walked away."

"'You kids wouldn’t be so anxious if you just stayed off the internet,' he lectured; the group chat instantly lit up with, 'OK Boomer.'"
